Volunteering - Access to Benefits Helpline
Employee volunteers receive a training to help staff this one-stop resource for clients to answer their pressing legal questions and connect them with resources.
Clothing and Toy Drives
Organize support for regular clothing and toy drives to support our clients, offering them essentials like clothing, as well as gifts for children during the holidays.
Matching and Employee Giving
Increase your team’s impact and connection to The Legal Aid Society’s mission through matching and employee giving programs.
Adopting a Legal Aid or Court Library
Adopt one of our five office libraries or Juvenile Court libraries which are community resources for our clients. Volunteers donate books and visit and organize their adopted library.
Hosting Resume Workshops and Client Clinics
Host a workshop so your staff can meet and support current and former clients as they build their resumes, seek new opportunities or reenter the workforce.
Client Community Events
Sponsor our holiday client party or community justice fairs and help staff the events with volunteers.
